- Electronic music reproduction is high on the agenda for the new additions to the Xone range.
Allen & Heath have announced the immediate release of the XD-20 headphone.
The XD-20 is the third in Allen & Heath's Xone DJ range, which to date includes the Xone XD-53 and XD-40. Although not designed for club/monitoring use, the in-ear XD-20 is said to be tailored towards "electronic music reproduction" with "extended bass and crisp, detailed highs."
"With the XD-20s, we wanted to offer off duty DJs—or any user—a pair of quality compact headphones designed for electronic music reproduction," says Xone design manager, Andy Rigby-Jones. "We were determined to create an in-ear design that delivers meaty bass to get a sense of how a track will work on a club PA system."
The XD-20s are available now at a suggested retail price of £49 + VAT.
