  • Surgeon, AKA Anthony Child, will play Tokyo, Osaka, Fukuoka, Sapporo and Nagoya throughout this month and the next. In March we announced the release of Surgeon's new album, Breaking the Frame. It will be the first long player in ten years, though he's been active in other respects. Apart from running his two record labels, Counterbalance and Dynamic Tension, Surgeon has averaged a single or two each year, and in 2010 showcased his famously tough and uncompromising techno on Fabric 53. Details on supporting acts are scant, but dates and venues have been confirmed. The first is the 28th of April, at Tokyo's Unit club, while the following two nights, Surgeon will play in Osaka and Fukuoka respectively. After a short break, he'll head far north to Sapporo, where he'll play at Cacoa on the 2nd of May. The final event, on the 4th of May, will take place at Mago in Nagoya.
