  • The hangover from the UK's civil unrest this past week looks set to continue into the weekend as police in the capital issue conditions under which certain clubs are able to operate. Farringdon venue fabric has sent out an email to its database stating that this Friday's FabricLIVE party with Ram will be a members and tickets-only event, meaning that any walks-ups to the club will be refused entry. The club is said to be "complying with the police's wishes and restricting attendance", presumably to try and prevent gatherings of large groups outside the venue. Opening times for the night are unaffected, and fabric is said to be resuming normal service for its Saturday night event. Meanwhile, RA understands that local councils and police are currently contacting a number of London venues on an individual basis, implementing conditions upon parties taking place this weekend which includes 2AM closings and advanced tickets-only door policies. We'll bring you more updates on the situation as we get them. Photo credit: Reuters
