  • Joey Beltram will play a three-room party at Vondie's in Detroit on Saturday, October 8th. A New York native, Beltram's career in music stretches back to the '80s, when he started DJing hip-hop as a teenager. Since then, he's gained praise for his techno productions on seminal labels like R&S, Tresor, Drumcode and his own imprint, STX, while playing headlining sets at clubs and festivals around the world. For this Motor City appearance next month, Beltram will play at the Detroit Paranormal Society's second edition of the Temporary Autonomous Zone; the first TAZ event earlier this year saw JPLS and Skoozbot play for a sold-out crowd. The party takes place across three rooms at Vondie's, with the entire venue redecorated and outfitted with visual projections for the night. Beltram will play a three-hour set on the rooftop with supporting slots going to Kero, Thomas Barnett and DPS's own Paranormal Tek. Other acts on hand for the night include Paxahau DJ's John Johr, Keith Kemp and Chuck Flask, along with live artists Project 313 and Guys on Drugs.
