  • Trus'me will play a handful of gigs across the US over the next two weeks, starting tonight in Cambridge, Massachusetts. Based in Manchester, Trus'me has spent the last few years pushing a soulful deep house sound and running his own label, Prime Numbers. This fall, however, he'll take on the "alter ego" David James and head in a more techno-oriented direction, recruiting Marcel Dettmann, Ben Klock and others to remix material from his previous albums. A few stops on this upcoming tour will also showcase his new party concept, 1 Red Light, with Trus'me leading the night under a low-hanging red light. So far, five US events are confirmed for Trus'me. Tonight's party in Cambridge will be followed by a Seattle gig tomorrow night. Next weekend sees the first stateside 1 Red Light party in Minneapolis; there, he'll play back to back with local techno pro DVS1, who will also join the remix project later this year. Trus'me will then head to Washington DC before concluding the tour in Brooklyn, where he'll share the decks for an extended set with DJ Qu.
