The R&S artist will make his way down under early next year.
Since attending the Red Bull Music Academy 2010 in London, Space Dimension Controller has released records through Belgian techno institution R&S Records, performed all over Europe and the US, and contributed an RA Podcast. His own label, Basic Rhythm, launched this year with the release of Ad Bourke's Tidal Motion, an exploration of some of the '80s funk and retro sounds that Hamill himself identifies as influences. A new double twelve-inch, The Pathway to Tiraquon6, hit the shelves last month and a new album is in the pipeline on R&S.
Hamill will be venturing to Australia early next year to play a total of five gigs over two weekends. He will play February 10th in Melbourne at The Buffalo Club, the 11th at the Civic Underground in Sydney for Picnic, the 17th over in Auckland at an Audio Harassment party, the 18th for an afternoon set at Barsoma in Brisbane, and the evening of the 18th down at Cuckoo Bar in Adelaide.
