Surgeon plays for Droid Behavior

- The veteran techno artist comes stateside next weekend for a night in Los Angeles.
- Surgeon will go to LA next Saturday to headline the 35th edition of Droidbehavior's Interface party. It's been more than five years since Surgeon made an appearance at Interface 17, and since then the UK native (real name Anthony Child) has only strengthened his reputation as one of techno's most challenging artists. The prolific years with legendary labels like Tresor and Downwards may seem like a distant memory by now, as Surgeon has continued to push forward with hard-hitting digital DJ sets and turn heads with his first full-length in over a decade, Breaking The Frame, which he released last May on his own Dynamic Tension imprint. Surgeon's set in LA looks to be his only North American gig at the moment. Longtime Chicago selector and Droid Behavior favorite DJ Hyperactive is also on the bill, and Droid's own Raiz will lead the night's local support.
