- The South Korean-born producer will release his debut album on his own Private Gold imprint.
Jin Choi will release his first full-length called A Thousand Whales Of Love on his Private Gold label.
The Berlin-based producer began releasing music in 2006 and since then his work has appeared on a variety of labels including Marc Romboy's Systematic Recordings. His prior EPs have shifted between tech house and deep house, but A Thousand Whales of Love focuses more on the latter with downtempo bass lines and vocal hooks. "There Must Be Ways" is the only track on the album that departs from dance floor rhythms, with Choi opting for a more stripped back and beatless arrangement. It'll be the first album released on Choi's Private Gold label, which is home to only a few of his previous 12-inches.
