  • Jamie Stevens and Steve Ward will play live together for the first time in Sydney on May 12th. The two Melbourne producers, having only joined forces last year, have both enjoyed extensive and successful careers in their home city's electronic music scene. The founding member of Infusion, one of the country's most eminent electronic acts throughout the '00s, Stevens' experience as a producer, performer and collaborator is vast. Ward, the founder of local techno imprint Chameleon Recordings, has also had a broad involvement in music, from releasing remixes on Bush and Trapez LTD to working in the studio with Carl Cox. Since their coming together in 2011, the duo, informally known as Steve Stevens, performed live for the first time together in April of that year and have remixed Dousk and Infusion. This will, however, be their first appearance as a pair in Sydney. The party will be presented by AU Underground and Future Theories at One22 on May 12th. On support are local acts Dylan Griffin and Trinity, who will be playing from 10:00 PM. Tickets can be purchased here on RA.
