- The Visionquest DJ will headline a pirate-themed party at the Lafayette Hotel's pool next weekend.
- Lee Curtiss will go to San Diego to play Summer Of Love, a daytime party on Sunday, June 10th. The sunny, melodic tech house that Curtiss favors as a member of Visionquest should fit in neatly at this one. It's the second party in a series hosted by Lovelife outside at the Lafayette Hotel's pool, after LA's Droog trio headlined the Summer Of Love opener a month ago (like-minded guests at other Lovelife events have included Thugfucker, Mr C and Slow Hands). This time, the "parrrty" has a theme: attendees are encouraged to come dressed up in pirate attire. It's set to run from noon until 7:00 PM, and the local DJ support will be led by Lovelife residents Jon Dadon and Boys Don't Disco. Those looking to attend will need to RSVP here.
