- Panda Bear, Romanthony and Laurel Halo all guest on the duo's new album, due for release on R&S.
Teengirl Fantasy have unveiled details for the second album, Tracer, due for release in August.
Made up of former college classmates Logan Takahashi and Nicholas Weiss, Teengirl Fantasy is an American duo that blends elements of shoegaze and ambient with 4/4 club music. They fell into the spotlight less than two years ago with the release of their debut album, 7AM, prior to which they'd put out just a handful of EPs. Tracer is a departure from that album in a number of ways. This time around the duo have foregone sampling altogether, and have enlisted a number of high profile guest artists, namely Panda Bear, Romanthony and Hyperdub's latest addition, Laurel Halo. They've also moved on from indie label Merok Records and signed up with Belgian electronic institution R&S Records.
