Shifted makes US debut in New York

- The UK techno artist will DJ at Tar & Feathered next weekend.
- UK artist Shifted will make his stateside debut at a secretly located Tar & Feathered party in New York next Saturday. Shifted's textured, atmospheric techno first appeared on Luke Slater's Mote-Evolver imprint in early 2011, and though his formal identity is kept under wraps, his profile has risen steadily since then: he's remixed tracks from Cio D'Or and The Black Dog (among others), DJ'd at top clubs like Berghain and fabric, and put out his first full-length, Crossed Paths, which RA's Andrew Ryce praised for its "fierce sensibility for unique sound design." Now it's time for Shifted's first, and for now only, US appearance, at Tar & Feathered. New Jersey house selector DJ Qu will also be on hand, along with Timefog artist Jacob Hoffman and residents Point Break. Find presale tickets to the party here on RA.
