  • Pinksilver will join forces with the Deep Cuts crew to showcase some of the label's talent on June 22nd. The imprint, which was established in 2006, has built itself around an atypical approach to house and techno, releasing work by a number of Australian and international avant-garde electronic artists. Pinksilver's breadth can be seen just by glancing at the label's catalogue, with output ranging from Sydney's Trinity & Beyond and Infusion member Jamie Stevens to young Italian producer Alessio Mereu and Chile's Felipe Venegas. They did, however, return to focus exclusively on Australian talent across last year's three-part release, Twenty4, which compiled original tracks from 24 homegrown producers including Andy Hart, Deepchild and Mike Callander. The Deep Cuts party will be an all-local affair. The bill includes live sets from Trinity and Echo Inspectors, an audio visual show by Lost Few and DJ sets from Daniel Filipovic and Drew Jugum. The doors of The Mercat Basement will open at 10:00PM.
