Rebirth have put together a remixed version of Bocca Grande's latest album, Little Pianist.
Bocca Grande is a Japanese duo made up of DJ Trio and pianist Yuka Kobayashi. They've collaborated off and on since 2008, pairing melodic piano compositions with deep house rhythms and occasionally vocals. In addition to Rebirth, who've released the majority of their music, they've appeared on Jamal Moss's Mathematics label and Berlin's Four Roses Recordings. Little Pianist is their first full-length. The upcoming collection shows it being reinterpreted by a diverse cast of producers, including Morphosis, Larry Heard (as Mr. Fingers), former Metro Area member Morgan Geist and Bristol's Artifact. The collection is due for release in July.
