- The German DJ will launch Nachtdigital's new label with a mixed compilation.
Robag Wruhme, real name Gabor Schablitzki, has mixed The Olgamikks, the first release on German festival Nachtdigital's new label spin-off.
In some respects, the forthcoming mix is an ode to Nachtdigital itself. Schablitzki has played at almost every edition of the annual Dresden event since 2003, sharing the bill with a host of international and German electronic acts. The release takes its name from Bungalowdorf Olganitz, the grounds on which the festival is held, and is comprised solely of Schablitzki's remixes and reworkings, with an additional two original productions exclusive to the mix.
It's the third time his remix work has been compiled—Remikks Potpourri and Remikks Potpourri II in 2005 and 2007, respectively—but the first time it has been presented as a full-length mix. Across 14 tracks, remixes of Kollektiv Turmstrasse, Gui Boratto and Claude VonStroke all feature. News of The Olgamikks comes after Schablitzki told RA at the end of 2011 that he didn't think "there would be another Robag Wruhme mix CD."
