Kate Simko and Chloe Harris bound for Australia

- The two American DJ/producers will play shows in Sydney and Melbourne this month.
- Kate Simko and Chloe Harris will both make their debuts in Australia this month. This will also be the first time that the two house and techno artists have toured together. Simko has been releasing music for more than a decade, often noted for the way her classical training influences her calculated and precise productions. Her output on labels like Ghostly International and Hello? Repeat, often has an experimental or ambient element, which shines through in her most recent twelve-inches on UK imprint Leftroom. Also a veteran of the scene, the Seattle-based Harris, co-founder of Further Records, is on a similar tip to Simko, taking a leftfield approach to house and techno both as an artist and label manager. The pair will play their two shows over the second weekend of August, with Simko performing her full audio/visual live show on both nights. Under One Roof will host the Americans at Melbourne's Brown Alley on the 10th, followed by the Golden Cage crew putting on a party at the Civic Underground in Sydney on the 11th with Robbie Lowe, Sam Roberts, Gemma Van D and Garth Linton in support.
