  • Lindstrøm will release a new full-length this November on Smalltown Supersound, entitled Smalhans. Along with his Norwegian compatriots Prins Thomas and Todd Terje, Lindstrøm is a key purveyor of cosmic disco, a sound he departed from on on his last LP, the rough-edged and somewhat experimental Six Cups of Rebel. Smalhans arrives just months after that release, and shows him getting back in his usual groove, with six extended dance floor-centric cuts. The album was mixed by Terje, who has also made extended edits of each track which will eventually be available on 12-inch. Fun fact: the album's title is Norwegian for "scarcity" or "poverty," and each track is named after a traditional Norwegian meal. You can hear Terje's edit of the opening track from Smalhans over on the label's SoundCloud page. Tracklist 01. Rà-àkõ-st 02. Lamm-el-aar 03. Eg-ged-osis 04. Vos-sako-rv 05. Faar-i-kaal 06.
