Mike Huckaby, Ben Sims and Pillow Talk are among those booked for the pop-up venue in November.
The pop-up venue, which will be central to the ten-day long festival, will host a variety of events which will include workshops, screenings, art and technology showcases and performances. The opening night of MMW at Where?House, on November 16th, will feature Wolf & Lamb trio PillowTalk playing live, plus appearances from Parisian duo Housse de Racket and Melbourne locals New War, Harris Robotis and Bamboo Musik.
The next announced event, Capacity 1000 on November 18th, will be headlined by Detroit staple Mike Huckaby and UK techno veteran Ben Sims, again supported by hometown acts like Mike Buhl, Matt Radovich and the debut of Four By Four, a fully analogue, fully live collaboration between Honeysmack, Steve Law, Voiteck and Two4K. On the 22nd of November, Where?House will be taken over by Omlette Records and Opiuo for a night of grooving electronica, with Ninja Tune's Eskmo making his first Australian appearance.
The location of Where?House will only be announced on November 16th, the day that Melbourne Music Week begins. The remainder of the ten day programme will be announced in early October.
