Different World comes to San Francisco

- Claude Young and Takasi Nakajima pay a visit to the Bay Area next week.
- Claude Young and Takasi Nakajima's project Different World will make its San Francisco debut next Friday. A veteran Detroit-bred artist now living in Japan, Young's stateside appearances had become scarce until last summer. Since then, he's busily toured the country, and DJ'd twice in San Francisco. This time, at Monarch, Young will team up with his close friend and collaborator Nakajima for a live/DJ set as Different World. They've played just a few Different World sets together in the US, and this is the duo's only one confirmed at the moment. David Javate and a handful of other SF locals round out the night's bill.
