  • New York producer Policy will release his debut album, Everything Hits, next month on Rush Hour. Policy is one of the most recent additions to Rush Hour's ever-growing roster. The Dutch label picked him up when he had just one release to his name—a digital EP on the Washington, DC bass label Car Crash Set. Since then they've put out two of his 12-inches, Specialty Party and One Last Time, selections from which appear on the new LP. Stylistically, he presents an angular blend of house and garage, often with a cinematic sheen that, according to the label, comes from his background in film. You can hear (fairly lengthy) samples of his album over on Rush Hour's SoundCloud page. Tracklist 01. Specialty Party 02. For Lost Time 03. Service Changes 04. Lights Over Fort Lees 05. Can't Get You 06. Lifted 07. Look At Them 08. Lost and Free 09. One Last Time 10. Anniversary 11. Disco Report 12. Feared Machines Rush Hour Recordings will release Everything Hits in November 2012.
