- Due out in November, the New York producer's first full-length is called Everything Hits.
New York producer Policy will release his debut album, Everything Hits, next month on Rush Hour.
Policy is one of the most recent additions to Rush Hour's ever-growing roster. The Dutch label picked him up when he had just one release to his name—a digital EP on the Washington, DC bass label Car Crash Set. Since then they've put out two of his 12-inches, Specialty Party and One Last Time, selections from which appear on the new LP. Stylistically, he presents an angular blend of house and garage, often with a cinematic sheen that, according to the label, comes from his background in film. You can hear (fairly lengthy) samples of his album over on Rush Hour's SoundCloud page.
