The title of this release is 'PVD DVD' and will be released on the newly developed 5.1 surround sound technology, producing the final mix in a Berlin club just last week. Van Dyk’s decision to make the remixes was followed by a battle in January with his former record label (MFS) in Germany, Van Dyk won and said: "I got all the rights to my back catalog and wanted to do something special, rather than putting it out the way it is," he says. "I remixed all the tracks -- 'For an Angel,' 'Seven Ways' -- the most important tracks of my career."
Paul Van Dyk is still polishing up the music for the Australian film One Perfect Day, which featured Leeanna Walsman (who played assassin Zam Wesell in Star Wars: Episode II). One Perfect Day is a love story, bridging the worlds of classical and dance music. It is about a classical musician who falls in love with this rave-oriented girl, the soundtrack is mainly a dance release, but PVD will be doing some work with the classical composer David Hopson and the Melbourne Philharmonic later this year.
