Sonotown and Smallville bring Omar-S to Paris

- Sonotown and Smallville Records have their second collaborative party planned for January 25th in Paris. Sonotown, a blog and event series launched in 2008, has a knack for intriguing team-ups, having worked with the likes of Warp, Tri Angle and Berghain's Leisure System party over the past year. In Smallville, Julius Steinhoff and Lawrence's Hamburg-based record shop and label (who have an outpost of the shop in Paris), they've found ready collaborators: their first joint event this summer brought together Smallville boosters Jus-Ed and Move D with likeminded locals Jacques, Tite and Reminiscence Music. This time, they've got FXHE boss Omar-S at the top of the bill. Chicago originators Virgo will play live, Sex Tags Mania mastermind DJ Sotofett will spin, and a bevy of Smallville affiliates—Move D, Juniper and Jacques—will round out the bill.
