  • Maria Minerva will play in Hamilton on March 1st. The Estonian singer first became known for her drone-esque early releases on Not Not Fun and lo-fi dance for 100% Silk in 2011. Last year she released her third album, Will Happiness Find Me? and turned her eye more towards hazy pop. She's been bringing her live set—which incorporates beats and live vocals—around the world since, and she'll make her first-ever appearance in Canada at the Ontario city's Baltimore House. The night is part of a series called The Effects Of Noise On Man, which has recently focused on experimental electronic music. Support will come from Hamilton locals Jessy Lanza (who will be performing a live set), Bonaventure, All Your Twins and Binoculars. Tickets for the party are avaiable on RA.
