The UK producer will release his debut album through Wheel & Deal next month.
Originally from Epsom, the producer debuted in 2010 with an eyes-down brand of brooding dubstep which he's showcased on labels like Biscuit Factory and Black Box. The majority of his releases have come through Wheel & Deal, however, the imprint started up by Rinse dubstep DJ N-Type, which will also release Benton's first full-length. Reflections further cements his purist dubstep aesthetic, reportedly going "back to the roots, the soul and the vibe" of the genre's early days but also digging into jungle, garage and hardcore. The LP sports his own remixes of The Kemistry and Thelem, a new mix of 2011's "20/20" and a collaboration with Dub Police associate Unitz and Wheel & Deal's own Arc 88.
