RBMA heads to Splendour in the Grass 2013

- Rick Wilhite, James Pants and Maurice Fulton will all play the Byron Bay festival side-stage later this month.
- The Red Bull Music Academy will host a stage at this year's Splendour in the Grass festival. The three-day camping festival is gearing up for its 13th year back at its original home in Byron Bay, with a lineup that features acts like James Blake and The Presets. RBMA will make their first appearance at the event, hosting one of the smaller stages. Friday's bill will be headed up by Rick Wilhite, Onra and homegrown acts Otologic, Mitzi, Ben Fester and the Future Classic DJs. Hip-hop producer Waajeed tops the list on Saturday, with Julien Love, Canyons, Galapagoose and Oisima jumping behind the decks in support. Sunday sees Maurice Fulton and Stones Throw artist James Pants steering the festival to its conclusion with a number of Goodgod Small Club regulars including Levins, Toni Toni Lee, Pelvis and Cliques. Splendour in the Grass 2013 will take place at North Byron Parklands just outside of Byron Bay from July 26th to 28th.
