- Randomer, Gingy & Bordello and Sei A will all release dance floor-tailored EPs for the label this summer.
Turbo Recordings will release three EPs as part of its Warehouse series, starting next week.
The Montreal label has been charting a change in course towards harder-edged techno sounds over the past few years, marked by releases from artists like Randomer, Gingy & Bordello, Clouds and others, not to mention last year's New Jack Techno compilation. The Warehouse series follows in the spirit of that collection, offering up three EPs of no-nonsense techno.
The first comes from London's Randomer in the form of the Ruffa EP, also his debut on Turbo. The two-tracker comes backed up with a remix from fellow Brit and labelmate J. Tijn (you can have a listen to what it sounds like over at FACT). Canadians Gingy & Bordello follow up on August 12th a remix from Robert Hood, and then Scottish producer Sei A will finish up the series on the 26th of that month, and he'll have all three tracks on the EP to himself.
