- The Berlin producer's second album will come out on Ghostly International in November.
Recondite will release an album through Ghostly International called Hinterland on November 11th.
The 10-track LP was inspired by the producer's homeland of Lower Bavaria in south-eastern Germany, and contains field recordings made on trips to the region from his current HQ in Berlin. "I tried to capture the area's mentality and natural environment within the album, particularly the moods that behold the emotions of the four seasons, which differ a lot in this region," he says. "Characteristics of people's minds, such as satisfied, frightened, calm, melancholic, sad, stoic, frustrated, strong and deep, are captured in the sounds."
Hinterland will be the second Recondite album, following last year's On Acid LP, which RA's Andrew Ryce described as "feeling strangely divorced both from his previous output and especially from over two decades worth of acid house history."
