Strategy visits PDneXt

- The Portland party's next instalment will feature a local salwart.
- Strategy will headline the PDneXt next Wednesday. PDneXt was founded by a crew of local Portland artists to create a forum for forward-thinking bass music—acting as a regular showcase for its cast of residents and also a space to highlight outside artists. In the past, featured guests have included Objekt, DJ Rashad and B Bravo, highlighting their varied musical outlook. This time a fellow Portland citizen will headline, as Strategy, AKA Paul Dickow, performs live. Famous for his hardware sets, he's released several albums of dub-influenced music on labels like Kranky and more recently Peak Oil. He's also got a 12-inch on the way for Idle Hands, complete with a remix by Peverelist. Dickow will be supported by another special guest, local Jason Burns, and the usual PDneXt regulars—Natasha Kmeto, Graintable, Danny Corn and Plumblyne. The party will take place at Holocene.
