- Two months after the three-day camping festival, a notice has been sent to the UK promoter's creditors.
Major UK promoters Eastern Electrics are set to be placed in voluntary liquidation.
A letter, seen by RA, has been sent to the creditors of Electric Productions, the trading company that oversees Eastern Electrics. The company has now entered into a process that could see it fall into administration. Though full details are yet to emerge, the focus will inevitably be thrown onto this year's Eastern Electrics festival, which took place over three days at Knebworth Park from August 2nd through 4th.
When contacted by RA, Eastern Electrics said they were unable to comment. We'll provide updates on this story as more information becomes available.
