  • Stattbad will host the return of X-Mix, an audio-visual concept launched by !K7 more than two decades ago. X-Mix was a mix CD series that featured an accompanying stream of computer animated video with each edition. Laurent Garnier, Dave Clarke and Richie Hawtin were among the artists enlisted to helm their own editions, which were released between 1993 and 1998. A series of DVDs dropped in 2001, but since then it has remained dormant. Two events have been scheduled to take place, both of them aiming to recreate the vibe of the series. Visuals will play a big role on both nights, and will be handled by Polish media artists Pussykrew. Music-wise, John Acquaviva (who mixed one X-Mix instalment in 1994) and Berliners Hrdvsion and Derek Plaslaiko have been confirmed for the first event, going down on October 25th. Dave Clarke, one of X-Mix's most prominent affiliates, will headline the second, taking place on November 22nd, with Objekt and a number of to-be-announced Osgut Ton artists in support. Tickets to the nights are available here and here.
