  • SoCal crew Desert Hearts will celebrate their one-year anniversary with a three-night campout in the Pauma Valley beginning on Friday, November 8th. The event will happen at La Jolla Indian Campground, located about an hour north of San Diego and two hours southeast of LA. One part of the campground was used to host the Tropical Hearts Festival back in May, and organizers promise for this one a "60+ hour marathon of house and techno... [taking] place in the vast Sacred Ceremonial Space of the grounds." Like the May festival, sound will come through a Funktion One system, courtesy of around two dozen total acts. Minimal mainstay Marc Houle (playing live as usual) and veteran Danish DJ Noir are atop the program, with Thugfucker, DJ Three and James Teej confirmed as well. Atish and Dance Spirit lead the West Coast side of the lineup, which also includes Bells & Whistles and Lovelife's Jon Dadon along with Desert Hearts' Lee Reynolds and Mikey Lion, among others. Tickets to the campout are available here on RA.
