  • The schedule for this year's Berlin Music Days, AKA BerMuDa, has been announced. Taking place from November 6th through the 10th, this will be the fifth BerMuDa series in Berlin. This time round, things will not conclude with what has been the festival's most prominent event in the past—a 13,000-capacity rave at the abandoned Tempelhof Airport. Instead, BeMuDa's club calendar has expanded to include around 40 venues from right across Berlin's diverse clubbing landscape, with Watergate, KaterHolzig and Weekend all hosting parties. For each of its nights, BerMuDa will offer a number of options for clubbers to choose from. House will be served up by some of Germany's biggest names, with a BPitch Control showcase featuring Ellen Allien and Kiki set to go down at Watergate on November 8th, and a Diynamic label night with H.O.S.H. and David August hitting Ritter Butzke on the 9th. Bands due to make appearances include Hercules & Love Affair and Hot Chip, both of whom be playing at Postbahnhof (on November 6th and 7th, respectively). Some of Berlin's lesser known venues have also been included in the listings, with Mini.Mal Elektrokneipe and Fiese Remise due to host several parties. Alongside the night-time activities, a number of book readings, lectures and panels will also take place, with Tobias Rapp, one of the most well-known documenters of the Berlin club scene, among the participants.
