Cosmin TRG and Simian Mobile Disco team up on Delicacies

- SMD's culinary-themed label returns with two tracks named after exotic dishes.
- Cosmin TRG and Simian Mobile Disco have collaborated on a pair of tracks that will be released through the latter's Delicacies label in December. The record is Simian Mobile Disco's second Delicacies collaboration of 2013—they also hooked up with Bicep for the Sacrifice 12-inch. This time around they invited 50 Weapons regular Cosmin TRG into their studio to craft a two-track EP. In keeping with the label's culinary theme, both tracks are named after strange recipes: "Surströmming" is a Swedish plate that a press release suggests is "the most putrid smelling food substance in the world," while "Sannakji" is a Korean dish that sees octopus tentacles served while they're still squirming. Simian Mobile Disco have also invited Cosmin down as a guest at their next Delicatessen club night at London's XOYO on Saturday, December 7th. Tracklist 01.
