  • Peverelist will headline the final Colony party on Saturday, December 7th. Since launching five years ago, Colony has embraced techno, drum & bass and more besides, hosting everyone from Scuba to Rockwell to Kevin Gorman. As well as throwing plenty of their own parties, they've also shown a willingness to team up with other promoters—recently they co-hosted a three-room takeover of Corsica Studios with Plex and BleeD. The next Colony party, to be held at The Hive Project in Hackney Wick, will also be the last: "Quite simply, the project is complete," reads an email from the promoters. For their final bash they've invited Punch Drunk boss and Livity Sound man Peverelist to headline, with support coming from Equinox—who Colony rate as "the outright best DJ" to have played at their party—as well as Sync 24, S_P_A_C_E_S, Tengui and CB. An all-night record fare will also be held in honour of Dave Twomey, a favourite among the techno community who passed away earlier this year. Tickets to the party are available here on RA.
