  • RINSED will celebrate three years of operation with parties in Brooklyn over the next three Friday nights. This anniversary series follows events in New York with Inner City and Actress (among others) in recent months. It'll start this Friday, when RINSED will link up with the Scottish label Numbers, who'll be celebrating their tenth anniversary, for a night featuring Jackmaster and Spencer along with longtime Midwest selectors Anthony 'Shake' Shakir and DJ Deeon. Then on the 6th, a party called Nights Of Future Past will feature appearances from veteran house vocalist Crystal Waters as well as the UK's Vanilla Ace and NYC local Braille (AKA Praveen Sharma, and one half of Sepalcure). RINSED Live is the name of the last anniversary show on Friday the 13th, with Populette, Beto Cravioto and Aurora Halal taking part in the all-live program. Dan Wender and Blacky II, the residents who'll be DJing at the prior two parties, will debut their new RINSED live act. The rest of the lineup at that one is TBA. The three events will all take place at secret locations. A.Pop as usual will oversee "aesthetics" (which means performance art and interactive lighting and sculpture), and early arrivals will be treated to an open bar from midnight to 1 AM at each show. Tickets are available here on RA.
