  • Awanto3 will release his debut album, Opel Mantra, as a trilogy through Rush Hour Music. To date Steven van Hulle's output has been limited to a few low-key 12-inches, some of which have been produced in collaboration with fellow Amsterdam dwellers like Tom Trago, San Proper and Young Marco. That will change with the release of Opel Mantra, which will be released as three separate 12-inches in February and March (there will also be a CD release that pulls together all of the vinyl tracks). According to Rush Hour, the first 12-inch comprises four house tracks infused with African and South American influences. It also contains a remix of "Su What?" by Kindred Spirits regular Jameszoo. The second and third parts both feature collaborations, with Jungle By Night guesting on "Baila Con Paula" and Tom Trago lending a hand on "Dikkiedik." You can listen to snippets of Part 1 over at the Rush Hour distribution page. Tracklist Part 1 01. Su What? 02. The Wall 03. Applecake 04. Su What? (Jameszoo remix) Part 2 01. Boogiedownpopke 02. Knocke Now 03. Cowbelgian 04. Baila Con Paula feat. Jungle By Night Part 3 01. Dikkiedik feat. Tom Trago 02. Bubbles Made Me Cry 03. Jillinekrace 04. Talk Together Rush Hour will release Opel Mantra Parts 1, 2 and 3 in February and March 2014.
