- The American producer will spend his Valentine's Day in Canada this year.
Octo Octa will touch down in Montreal for a Valentine's Day gig this month.
Brooklyn-based Michael Bouldry-Morrison has been one of LA label 100% Silk's most exemplary artist, nailing the crew's DIY disco and house sound with his analogue-heavy jams. He collaborated with LA Vampires in 2012 for the Freedom 2K album and last year released his latest full-length, Between Two Selves, which showed his sound moving in a more polished direction. He'll make a rare visit to Canada next Friday for a gig in Montreal at La Bleury-Bar à Vinyle, where he'll play alongside locals Alfred Borden and Erik Faulkner.
Bouldry-Morrison also has two NYC shows bookending his Canadian stop-in—one at TBA Brooklyn this Thursday, and another with Opal Tapes associate Patricia at Bizarre on the 15th.
Check out his recent podcast for Little White Earbuds to get an idea of what he sounds like lately.
Tickets for the show are available on RA.
