Unfortunately, this was due to the havoc Bondi’s council regulations have caused, ordering a strict 3am closure. Who wants to spend their NYE, the biggest night of the year, knowing that when the clock hits 3:00am, just a few hours past midnight, that the music will stop and you’re going to be on your way. Last year was an exception with Darren Emerson and Erick Morrillo heading directly over to Home's nightclub to ensure some of the crowd had somewhere to run too. But this year, to get rid of this fairly major obstacle... the mobilehome team have moved the venue, which does mean no more Bondi Beach, possibly one of the best backdrops for a NYE party anywhere in the world, but what better place than Wharf 3.
This year’s mobilehome will see the doors opening at 7:00pm and closing at 6.00am. And as the venue is down on the harbour, you will be able to get an amazing view of the impressive fireworks from the Harbour Bridge, which in itself is something that thousands of people fight for a decent vantage point.
It looks like the mobilehome team have done their homework and are going to ensure this is going to be one hell of a new years eve.
