  • Derrick May's Transmat label has announced details of its next release, as well as plans to open a new headquarters in Zurich. The label says the release marks the start of new chapter at Transmat, with May planning to "produce new artists in order to spread his vision of modern electronic dance music." Part of the revival will include a new artist management and booking office based in Zurich, Switzerland, where May lived in the '90s. The comeback record comes from French producer Karim Sahraoui, AKA Djinxx, with Eternal Life Part 1 due out this month. It comes with the cat number MS 200 (though it's not the label's 200th release). The label's musical focus will be on new or under-the-radar talent, but the artwork will retain a classic feel, with sleeves reminiscent of the early Transmat records. Tracklist 01. Nightflow 02. Stella Transmat will release Eternal Life Part 1 in March 2014.
