The EDM-heavy festival's lineup brings together the likes of Tiesto, Claude VonStroke, Bassnectar and Mano Le Tough.
Though it has New York in its name, the festival, produced by Insomniac, will again head to East Rutherford, New Jersey and set up shop at MetLife Stadium. It's well known as an audio-visual spectacle, and this year it'll feature a "100-foot animatronic Owl stage" and a "new and improved Electric Daisy art installation, standing at 125 feet tall." In terms of music, its lineup numbers close to 70 acts in all, and as usual is heavy on EDM and trance favorites, with Afrojack, Tiesto, Bassnectar, Calvin Harris and Steve Angello among the artists on that front.
But there's also a collection of more underground-leaning house and techno talent, with Drumcode head Adam Beyer, Crosstown Rebels chief Damian Lazarus, Canadian hotshots Art Department and UK icons John Digweed and Carl Cox all confirmed along with stateside veterans Green Velvet and Marc 'MK' Kinchen. Other highlights from that side of the lineup include Loco Dice, Tale Of Us (subjects of a recent RA feature), Mano Le Tough, and Claude VonStroke.
