  • Prins Thomas will release his third solo album, Prins Thomas III, on April 28th. The Norwegian will release the record through his own Full Pupp label. In keeping with his first two albums, it's a self-titled affair, with Thomas saying "there's no great concept, no specific theme, no scheme, no plan... no space disco but still plenty of space." He adds: "It is just documentation of the music I made during the recording period—a musical diary so to speak. Diary entry number three." The producer says the record sounds "somewhere between" his first two LPs, Prins Thomas and Prins Thomas II. "They where both a result of the recording techniques and musical ideas I had at the time: the former organic [and] freeform, the latter more polished and square as I had just figured how MIDI worked. What I've learned so far is now coming together in some kind of musical (dis)harmony." The album follows the recent announcement of 10 Years Of Full Pupp, a compilation celebrating a decade in the business for Thomas's label. Tracklist 01. Hans Majestet 02. Arabisk Natt (Dub) 03. Kameleon 04. 2000 Lysår fra Morellveien 05. Enmannsrock 06. Kavaler 07. Luftspeiling 08. Oase 09. Trans 10. Labyrint 11. Åpne Slusa Full Pupp will release Prins Thomas III on April 28th, 2014.
