- The Swedish minimal punk band will release their second album in June.
The next release from Blackest Ever Black is a double-vinyl LP from Swedish punk outfit Bremen, due out June 9th.
Second Launch will be Lanchy Orre and Jonas Tiljander's second album, following 2013's self-titled debut. It features some lengthy cuts—six tracks clock in at more than ten minutes—and is described by the label as "dysphoric space-rock minimalism" that takes it cues from "the dark side of kraut and progressive rock, early electronic and drone music."
Blackest Ever Black has maintained a rock-solid release schedule in 2014, putting out records from Weekend, Killing Sound, Stefan Jaworzyn, Officer! and Tomorrow The Rain Will Fall Upwards. You can stream a track from Second Launch, "Hollow Wave," via the SoundCloud player below:
