  • Oris Jay has started a new label called Paper Planes, with the first release out in May. The UK producer, known especially for his early work as Darqwan—which helped to create and define the early dubstep sound through releases for Planet Mu and Tectonic—has kept busy through the years. Now he's starting yet another alias, with the first RS4 record on his new imprint Paper Plates. Billed as his new house-focused project, the four tracks on Hexagons fit quite easily into the UK's current obsession with bass-heavy 4/4, albeit with an emphasis on synths and a "unique Steel City vibe" in reference to his Sheffield upbringing. Tracklist 01. The Massive 02. Leap Of Faith 03. Station House 04. Let Go Paper Plates will release Hexagons on May 19th, 2014.
