Dekmantel Festival 2014 reveals second wave of acts

- Jeff Mills, Nina Kraviz and a series of Ostgut-themed back-to-back sets are part of the latest announcement from the Amsterdam event.
- Organisers of Dekmantel Festival have added 24 new acts to the 2014 bill. The second edition of the festival will go down at Amsterdamse Bos from August 1st through 3rd. This latest announcement is dominated by a number of Ostgut Ton-themed back-to-back sets: Ben Klock vs. Ryan Elliott, Marcel Dettmann vs. Luke Slater, Efdemin vs. Marcel Fengler, Steffi vs. Answer Code Request, and Atom TM vs. Tobias. There's one more back-to-back pairing—Kyle Hall vs. Jay Daniel—and a string of solo acts, including Nina Kraviz, Julio Bashmore, Bicep, Andrew Weatherall, Boddika, Surgeon, Jimmy Edgar and Jeff Mills, who recently caught up with Will Lynch for an RA Exchange. A few local names have been added, too—Young Marco, Mark du Mosch and Interstellar Funk—as has New Jersey artist Joey Anderson, whose debut LP After Forever is coming out on Dekmantel's label. They join previously announced names like 3 Chairs, DJ Harvey, Nicolas Jaar, Gerd Janson, John Talabot, Plaid, Mount Kimbie and Shackleton.
