The festival, taking place in Washington DC this week, also features Mister Saturday Night and King Britt.
The seventh Forward Festival will take place in DC starting tomorrow, May 14th.
The small but growing electronic music event unfolds across a number of venues in the nation's capital from Wednesday through to Saturday evening. The theme for this year's edition is "perspective"—more specifically, "the power that perspective can gift us in addressing a situation, a problem or in analyzing a result can be the difference maker in coming up with the best solution or realization."
As usual, the lineup touches on a number of different genres and styles. On the house and techno side of things, they've booked Brooklyn duo Mister Saturday Night, American veteran Daniel Bell, Secretsundaze signee Amir Alexander and Philly staple King Britt. Kahn will hold down the dubstep and grime contingent, and there's a healthy dose of drum & bass too, featuring Robert Manos, Method One and drumfunk legend Paradox. Experimental artists Helm and Grischa Lichtenberger will open the festival with audiovisual sets.
