- The mysterious producer otherwise known as Sun OK Papi KO will have a release on the Belgian label next month.
The next EP on Vlek will come from Lawrence Le Doux.
Le Doux is a bit of a shadowy figure, but we do know he's released on other labels in the past as Sun Papa & Lawrence Le Doux, Jacuzzi Notebook and most notably Sun OK Papi KO, under all of which he's produced a smorgasbord of dance music styles (he's also played in bands like The Fan Club Orchestra). Terrestre is his first EP as just Lawrence Le Doux, and according to the label it "moulds club tropes like so much plastic material," from off-kilter jamming on "Afruita" to laid-back deep house on "Chorus." The EP will come in an edition of 300, with specially embossed record sleeves and textures sourced from wood fragments.
