- Niggas On The Moon, up for free download, is part one of a double LP called The Powers That B.
Death Grips have released a free album called Niggas On The Moon.
It's purportedly part one of a two-disc effort called The Powers That B—part two, Jenny Death, will be available with the full package due to be released by Harvest and Third World Records later this year, according to Pitchfork.
The band claim that Björk is featured on all eight tracks, but at this point it's not clear if that means they collaborated with her, or just sampled her existing recordings. It's not the first time they've given away a record for free. Last year's Government Plates was also released as a surprise and, more famously, they uploaded their third album NO LOVE DEEP WEB for free ahead of its planned official release—sparking a fight with Epic Records which ultimately led to the label cutting them loose.
