- The Minilogue member has unveiled a new solo project.
Sebastian Mullaert will launch a new project called Wa Wu We this month.
Mullaert is best known for his work as part of Minilogue alongside Marcus Henriksson. Throughout the years he's also put out music and played gigs under his own name, often pushing a deeper strain of techno than the Minilogue sound. His most high-profile solo effort is probably a double-CD mix on Mule Musiq called Wa Wu We, which came out back in 2010.
Mullaert has now donned the mix's title as a moniker, and used it for the name of a new label. The debut release is a solo 12-inch that's due to drop on June 16th. It comprises three untitled tracks, which offer up understated, hypnotic techno in the vein of artists like Donato Dozzy, Nuel and Neel.
