- FEAR_OF_THA_BLACC_HACCER will land in November, with one single dropping every week starting in October.
RATCHETT TRAXXX has revealed his debut album, FEAR_OF_THA_BLACC_HACCER, due out on November 28th.
TRAXXX first appeared as a rather combative Twitter account, but has since put out a few self-released, vinyl only records of ramshackle house and electro. Our review of the third called it "a suitably slapdash job for someone with a name like RATCHETT TRAXXX, but... also charming in its own way." He also had a tune on French label Sound Pellegrino's third compilation earlier this year.
Now the mysterious figure will make a foray into digital releasing with FEAR_OF_THA_BLACC_HACCER. The record's first single will drop on October 3rd, and he'll release a new one every Friday until the whole album hits. RATCHETT TRAXXX's Tumblr promises "ELECTRO LIKE U BEEN WANTIN 2 HEAR, BUT NO ONE DELIVERED," adding "U ABOUT 2 WITNESS THA GREATEST CLUB ALBUM RELEASE OF ALL TIME."
There are no clips of the album available yet—in the artist's own words, "2 HEAR SAMPLES DONT GO TO SOUNDCLOUD… GO SEE YA FAVORITE RT ASSOCIATED DJ IN THA CLUB."
