  • Berlin label Raster-Noton will host three showcase events in Japan this month. The experimental German imprint, now just a couple of years shy of its 20th anniversary, will be represented by four artists along the tour, including Diamond Version, the pairing of label heads Alva Noto and Byetone, whose debut LP dropped earlier this year. They'll be joined by Emptyset, who will be making their Japan debut, as well as Japanese artists Kyoka (whose first album was also released on Raster-Noton in 2014) and recent signing Ueno Masaaki. All four will be performing live. The first of three parties will be at Conpass in Osaka on October 2nd. They'll then head to Club Metro in Kyoto on the 3rd. On October 4th they'll help celebrate the 10th anniversary of Tokyo club Unit, with Alva Noto and Byetone also launching into DJ mode as DJ Alpha & Beta. Tickets to the Tokyo show are available here on RA.
